We understand that as homeowners or homeowners-to-be, a lot of questions might arise. With roofing, those questions might start to pile up. One of the questions that we almost always get, is “If my roof is leaking, do I need to replace the whole roof?”
My Roof Is Leaking, Do I Need To Replace My Whole Shingle Roof?
The short and honest answer is: not really.
Leaks are usually created by wind damage, falling debris, or failing sealants. All three can be easily repaired without having to replace your whole shingle roof with a new one. Unfortunately, our trade is filled with lots of roofers who will tell you that your roof is not repairable and needs to be completely replaced.
